Nepalese Rupee

The Nepalese rupee is the currency of Nepal. The banknotes are printed on polymer (plastic) material. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is responsible for issuing the Nepalese banknotes. The Nepalese rupee is pegged to the Indian Rupee. The main goal of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is to become a modern, dynamic, credible and effective Central Bank. They also focus on maintaining stability of the economy by implementing effective monetary, foreign exchange, and financial policies.
