This section of the Terms and Conditions applies to the online foreign exchange ordering service (the “Service”), which is provided by CXI. The Service consists of an online ordering facility (the “System”) for foreign currency banknotes (collectively “Foreign Currency”). The Service is only available to individuals aged 18 years or over accessing the Service from the United States. The Service may only be used to order Foreign Currency for personal or business travel and not for speculative, investment or any other purposes. By placing the Foreign Currency order, you confirm that you have read and understood the Online Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
When you place an order for home delivery, you will pay for your Foreign Currency during the online checkout and have it shipped to your home or business (a “Home Delivery” order). Payment will be authenticated and taken when you select the “Submit Payment” button on the Contact & Payment page of the online checkout cart. If you select Branch Pickup, you are reserving the Foreign Currency and are not creating a binding order (a “Branch Pickup” reservation). The reservation information is sent to the selected CXI branch. The branch will confirm the reservation with you and notify you when it’s ready for pickup. Branch Pickup reservations are paid for at the time you collect the Foreign Currency at the CXI branch location.
Please note that Home Delivery orders of Foreign Currency are restricted to the following select states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC.
You must provide the information requested during the ordering process for CXI to process your order. CXI reserves the right to request additional information from you in order to complete the request and/or to comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. CXI will use certain procedures to authenticate each transaction and may, at any time, decline to process your order or any part thereof for any reason. By placing a Home Delivery order, you confirm that the details contained in the order are correct in all respects and that you are the registered holder of the payment card. It is therefore important that you provide correct contact details so CXI can reach you should we need to obtain further information to process your order. CXI reserves the right not to conduct business with you for any reason at CXI’s absolute discretion and you will be notified of any such decision.
A minimum order value and maximum order value limit for Foreign Currency may apply and will be detailed on the online ordering screen. A delivery charge may be applied to your order and, if applicable, will be detailed on the online ordering screen. CXI reserves the right to amend these limits from time to time. Foreign currency orders received before 3:00 PM EST will be processed same day. Orders received after 3:00 PM weekdays or on weekends will be processed the following business day.
This Service is only available for the currencies listed on the online ordering screen. The exchange rates quoted by CXI may be updated at any time. Availability of Foreign Currency may be subject to monetary limits, currency exchange restrictions and anti–money laundering regulations. If for any reason an order cannot be completed by CXI after it has been submitted by you through the System or CXI identifies an error in the rate, fees or any other pricing, you will be refunded on the same credit or debit card used to place the order for the full order value originally charged by CXI.
All Foreign Currency orders are rounded up to the nearest available banknote for that currency. For example, if a customer is purchasing euros, the calculation would be rounded up to the next multiple of 5 euro, since that is the smallest banknote denomination of the euro (smaller denominations of euro are coins and CXI does not exchange foreign coins). If specific foreign banknote denominations are requested with an order, CXI reserves the right to complete the order with denominations it selects at its discretion. This means the foreign banknote denomination request will be filled at a best fit scenario for CXI and is not guaranteed.
The System will display a receipt screen outlining the details of your order and will email you a receipt of the order. These order receipts include a reference number which confirms our receipt of your order. If you do not receive a reference number and/or email, it is likely that your order has not been received or that your order has not been accepted by CXI. If you cannot locate a reference number, contact our customer support department to verify if your order has been received. A contract between you and CXI is formed when your credit or debit card payment has been accepted by CXI. Please print a copy of the receipt screen for your records.
Home Delivery Orders
To qualify for Home Delivery, customers must order a minimum quantity of $100. The maximum that can be sent in one Home Delivery order is $2,999.99 US dollar (USD) worth of Foreign Currency. Additional limits may apply.
Branch Pickup Reservations
There are no limitations to the amount of currency a customer is able to reserve at a physical CXI branch. However, the System may only accept up to certain amounts. If you would like to reserve more than the System allows, you may call or go to the local CXI branch to place the reservation. If the customer decides to use debit or credit cards as their method of payment at CXI’s branch, they will be subject to the limitations outlined below.
Home Delivery Orders
If the customer places a Home Delivery order, a shipping fee for the order will appear in the online order summary. The total sum payable by the customer (except for any charges imposed by the credit or debit card issuer*) will be shown on the order summary prior to submitting payment and on the receipt screen after submitting payment. Home Delivery orders can be paid for with most major credit or debit cards issued in the United States registered in the correct name, associated address and with sufficient funds available to cover the order and any applicable fees.
Branch Pickup Reservations
Placing a Branch Pickup reservation of Foreign Currency does not include a service charge, however the customer will be responsible for CXI’s transaction fees at the time of payment. The transaction fees are determined by the US dollar value of the foreign currency and payment method. The fees at the branch are subject to change at CXI’s discretion.
*Please be advised that your credit card company may categorize transactions as a Cash Advance and apply their own fees. CXI has no control over how a credit card company categorizes this transaction. Please contact your credit card company for more information.
All Home Delivery orders are sent by either FedEx or another CXI selected carrier. Deliveries are made only to a valid home or business address location and cannot be sent to P.O. Boxes. The home or business address used for shipping must match the credit card or debit card used to pay for the order.
Home deliver orders received before 3:00 PM EST will be processed same day. Orders received after 3:00 PM weekdays or on weekends will be processed the following business day. Please note that delivery times may vary. All Home Deliveries require a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, FedEx may reattempt delivery up to three times. For additional details regarding the shipping and regulations of FedEx, please click here.
If you fail to accept delivery for any reason and wish your order to be re-delivered, it will be your responsibility to pay any additional delivery charges.
If you do not receive your Home Delivery order or you receive the Home Delivery order and it is incorrect due to any fault on CXI's part, you should notify us of the non-delivery or error within 14 days of your Home Delivery order. We will open an investigation internally and review our security measures including recordings from HD cameras in our fulfillment areas or open an investigation with our delivery carrier to confirm if the Home Delivery order was not delivered or if there was an error. CXI may charge you for the replacement order whilst it investigates the reason for non-delivery or may charge you for the replacement order at the completion of the investigation. CXI cannot accept any responsibility or liability for safe delivery beyond the handover of the relevant order to your chosen delivery address or any liability for fraudulent acts committed by any third-party. CXI will not be responsible for any redirected items.
If we conclude there was an error on our part, we will resend the Home Delivery order or correct the error by delivering a replacement order. You agree to return the original Home Delivery order to us through our selected carrier within 14 days with a prepaid label provided by CXI. If you fail to return the original Home Delivery order, you authorize CXI to charge your credit card or debit card for the amount of the replacement order.
In the event you are entitled to a return or a replacement, please contact customer support at 1-888-998-3948 (Monday to Friday 8 am to 10 pm and Saturday to Sunday 9 am to 10pm ET) or email@example.com to arrange this.
From time to time, CXI may offer discounts on specific orders. For the discount to apply, a Promotional Code must be entered in the 'Promo Code' box displayed in the order summary. Promotional Codes will be notified separately to participating customers, by whatever means CXI deems relevant. Discounts will be in the form of an improved exchange rate or reduced fee, resulting in a reduction of the US dollar amount payable for a given amount of Foreign Currency. The System will notify you if the Promotional Code entered is valid and is applicable to the order being placed. Promotional Codes are available to participating customers only, cannot be transferred and can be withdrawn, suspended or amended without notice. Promotional Codes are valid for the duration of the promotion only. A minimum and/or maximum spend may apply to the Promotional Code.
Home Delivery Orders
Due to the inherent volatility of the value of foreign currency and security of the shipment, Home Delivery order details cannot be changed once you have submitted the order.
In accordance with the Terms and Conditions outlined below, Home Delivery orders may be cancelled by calling CXI’s customer support department at 1-888-998-3948 (Monday to Friday 8 am to 10 pm and Saturday to Sunday 9 am to 10pm ET) or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have placed an order for Home Delivery, this order can be cancelled as long as your order has not been marked as sent for delivery, and we will refund you the full amount you paid for your order, excluding any applicable card issuer charges. These card issuer charges are separate to any charges made by CXI and as such, are levied directly by your credit card or debit card issuer. CXI, at its discretion, reserves the right to apply a cancellation charge up to the value of $20 per order. Home Delivery orders cannot be cancelled after the order has been marked as sent for delivery.
CXI will process all refunds to the card account originally used to purchase your order within 30 days. The date on which the funds reach your card account will be dependent on the processing times of your card issuer. Please note that CXI will not refund any cash advance charges made by your card issuer.
Branch Pickup Reservations
If a customer places a Branch Pickup reservation and fails to collect the order from the pre-selected CXI location within 7 business days of the branch confirming the order is available for pickup, the foreign currency reserved for such order will be placed back into inventory and the order will be marked as cancelled. As no payment is taken by CXI for a Branch Pickup reservation until it is actually picked up, there is no charge or refund to you for the cancellation. Please note that all reservations picked up from a CXI retail branch are finalized and paid for with a foreign currency exchange transaction and cannot be returned or cancelled.
If a customer wishes to return a reservation that they have paid for and picked up, CXI will buy it back at CXI’s “buy from client” foreign currency exchange rate of the day compared to CXI’s “sell to client” foreign currency exchange rate that the original foreign currency exchange transaction used. Please note that as exchange rates fluctuate daily, CXI cannot guarantee the customer will obtain the same exchange rate they received when they paid for the foreign currency exchange transaction as they received when Branch Pickup reservation was placed.
Home Delivery Orders
No changes are allowed once a Home Delivery order has been received by CXI. If you have any comments or complaints, please contact CXI by emailing email@example.com or by calling 1-888-998-3948; or submitting a complaint on complaints page.
Branch Pickup Reservations
If you would like to make a change to a Branch Pickup reservation, contact the branch with the contact phone number or email address provided on the reservation confirmation; or call 1-888-998-3948. The branch will attempt to make the changes to the reservation.

If CXI revises these terms, the revised version will be posted on the Website. Customers are expected to review the Online Terms and Conditions from time to time to take notice of any changes CXI makes and prior to completing each Foreign Currency order, as they are binding on the customer.
